nothere

when you remembered you didn't have the words to speak, a hand to dance with, or the competency to care, you sat home alone, a mind far from desolate yet shadowed with doubt, dismal, and with a curiosity losing touch.
you ranted to brick walls, murmurers absorbed by the callous surroundings, no echos, no answer.
novocaine drips through your veins, pressed upon by an iron weight of more than just a melancholic apathy.
tears in your skin, please let me borrow your bones, just this once.
